City of Tiffin to celebrate Fourth of July
The City of Tiffin will be celebrating Independence Day on Sunday, July 4, 2021, with events throughout the day at Hedges-Boyer Park. Food vendors will be set up at the park all day.
Additional funds are being spent on fireworks for the 2021 celebration after the 2020 celebration was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Schedule of events:
- Swimming and pool games, 1-7 p.m.
- Live music from Jake Heil and Bigfoot’s Brother, 6-10 p.m.
- Fireworks display, 10 p.m. (Rain out date is Monday, July 5)
“I’m excited that the City of Tiffin will be able to have the Fourth of July celebration again this year and look forward to making it our biggest fireworks display ever,” said Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz.
“We’re looking forward to hosting everyone again at Hedges-Boyer Park for our best event of the year,” said Tiffin Parks Director Bryce Kuhn.
Tiffin Parks and Recreation Department and City Administration have been trying to make this event and others in Summer 2021 extra special this year. Earlier this year, it was announced that the City Pool and city-run parks programs are free to residents of the City of Tiffin for the 2021 season.
