The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will host a screening of the movie The Soloist on Sunday, March 15 at 1:30 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room as part of the 2020 Community Read.
The movie adaptation of the book stars Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. This film is rated PG-13 and is 117 minutes long.
Each year the Community Read encourages people in Seneca County to read the selected title and come together for special events and discussions. The Community Read is made possible by a number of organizations and individuals. The Seventh Most Important Thing by Shelley Pearsall has been selected as the youth title for the 2020 Community Read. Shelley Pearsall will present to the community on Thursday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Noble Elementary School. The Soloist by Steve Lopez is the adult selection. Steve Lopez will present to the community on Thursday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Columbian High School Auditorium.
