The City of Tiffin will begin its annual giveaway of compost Friday, Oct. 1, at the Water Pollution Control Center, 961 N. Water St. for city residents. Hours will be daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

When available, city employees will load pickup trucks and small trailers for the first week, then open up to larger vehicles after that. Mulch and wood chips are also onsite.
