The Seneca Conservation District’s annual tree packet program is underway through Friday, April 3.
SCD has pre-ordered a specific number of each variety of seedlings, with some being limited and selling out quickly.
There are two ways to order.
People may stop by the SCD office at 3140 S. SR 100, Suite D, Tiffin, OH 44883 to order by filling out a paper form and paying with cash or check made out to Seneca Conservation District.
Or, they may visit www.conservesenecacounty.com to fill out an online form.
Orders are due Friday, April 3.
Pick-up dates are noon-6 p.m. Thursday, April 23 and 7 a.m.-noon Friday, April 24 at the SCD office. If any overstock is available, it will be sold after noon on Friday, April 24.
Although SCD orders hardy stock, due to the fragile nature of tree stock, it cannot guarantee survival rates.
