The Friends of the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will hold their annual Book Sale on Thursday, April 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, April 28 and 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room.

There will be a special preview sale for Friends of the Library members only on Wednesday, April 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memberships will be available at the door for $5.  Saturday’s sale will be a bag sale – fill any sized bag of books for $3.

Bestsellers, large print, fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, media items and more will be sold during the event. Teal Friends of the Library tote bags will also be on sale for $3. During Saturday’s bag sale day, you can get a tote bag and fill it with books for $5

Book donations for the sale will be accepted starting Monday, April 17 through Tuesday, April 25 during the Library’s open hours.  All items must be in good condition. This year, the Friends are requesting a special donation of children’s books. The book sale does not accept magazines, Readers’ Digest condensed books, outdated books, paperbacks without covers, encyclopedias, and textbooks.

The Friends of the Library organization supports T-SPL with monies raised through the book sale and other fundraisers held throughout the year. Funds raised in the past have provided financial support for the summer reading programs, special events for adults, as well as technology and equipment such as a specialty printer, laminator, Cricut machine for staff use, and computers for children’s area.
