St. Francis Spirituality Center is prepared for a “gentle re-opening” the weekend of May 14-16, 2021! Our staff is eager to welcome former and new guests to this “oasis of healing, reconciliation, and renewal.” Reservations are now available for 1 to 10 people at a time, for daytime use, or for 1 or 2 overnights. Meals will be provided, but not in the main dining room. Be assured that all COVID protocols set by the state of Ohio, the Seneca County Health Department and the St. Francis Campus oversight committee will be followed.

Seeds of Hope Farm Plant Sale, located on the St. Francis Campus at 194 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin. Open from dawn to dusk, we offer a variety of chemical-free vegetables and flowers. $.50 per plant, cash only. Look for the farm stand outside on the left-hand side before you get to FELC. Spring is back and YOGA is back, too! Every Wednesday at 6:00pm-7:00pm at Elizabeth Schaefer Auditorium, 190 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin, located on the St. Francis Campus. Limit: 10 participants. Saturday, May 22 (9am-Noon) “Mary Magdalene: Maligned Mystic” A Virtual Oasis Day Mini-Retreat offered by St. Francis Spirituality Center.

Science Club Boxes are available each month at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center in Tiffin!
Boxes are geared towards kids ages 5-11, cost is $20/box. Scholarships are available upon request, limit of 3 per child. For questions, contact Samantha Busack at 419.448.7485.
The May Box featured is Salsa Garden and will be available on May 21st. Plant you own salsa garden with this garden themed box. Box includes tomato, pepper, onion, garlic, and cilantro seeds and garden designs for you to really dig in and get your hands dirty. The June Box featured is Nature Art and will be available on June 18th. Art is everywhere in nature and with this box we will create our own masterpieces! By using natural items found in your backyard, you can create art as unique as yourself. This box explores a variety of mediums such as natural dyes, flower and plant stamping, air dry clay, and handmade tools. Deadline to order is June 9th. Sunday, June 20 (eve) – Sunday, June 27 (noon), 2021 A Week-Long Retreat “Nature’s Way: Healing and Revealing” offered by St. Francis Spirituality Center, 200 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin.
Designed to be either an in-house retreat in SFSC, or via Zoom, or a retreat-in-a-box that you can make any time in your home or other favorite place. Bring your need for nature’s revelation and restoration, especially in these difficult times. This non-traditional retreat will include a morning prayer followed by a documentary video which will introduce you to some spectacularly beautiful places on earth. You will be given a reflection guide as well as a recommended list of places to visit during the afternoon to soak in some local beauty, healing and revelation. An optional sharing time and optional guided meditation will conclude the day, either back at the center, through Zoom, or on your own. Facilitator: Sr. Edna Michel. Cost: in house, including meals, lodging, retreat: $490. Take-home retreat: $350. Minimum number for a group retreat: 5. Every Thursday (7:00-8:30pm) Conversations about Faith by Zoom offered through St. Francis Spirituality Center, 200 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin.
Conversations About Faith is an informal discussion where matters of faith can be freely discussed and explored. Participants bring their own topics of interest. Although the faith lens will be primarily Roman Catholic, all faith traditions are welcome. Conversations will be guided by Sister Edna Michel, OSF, M.A.(Theology) through Zoom. Free Will Offering.

SpiritSpace Gallery & Gifts, located inside St. Francis Spirituality Center at 200 St. Francis Ave. in Tiffin, offer gifts, cards, and books that enhance the spiritual dimension of life. Sacramental gifts and cards for Baptisms, First Communion, Confirmation, and Holy Matrimony are available. The shop showcases Sister Jane Frances Omlor and Tina Mira’s pottery, as well as, woodworking by Chad Shock. All handicrafts and art pieces are original and made in the United States. The Naked Bee body products, Equal Exchange coffee, tea and chocolate along with Sun Blossom solar gifts are all best sellers.
