Saturday, March 26 (9:00am-12:00pm) Oasis Day Mini-Retreat, “Yearning for God: Voices from the Creative Tradition” at 200 St. Francis Spirituality Center, 200 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin.

 

Yearning for God: Voices from the Creative Tradition” will be held on March 26th at 9 AM. Presenter Dan Moulton will take us through history during this retreat!

Meet the two remarkable women, St. Hildegard of Bingen and Lillias Trotter, whose love of God manifested itself in artistic expressions of faith, but whose life journeys took them in uniquely different directions. We will hear their stories, reflect on their creative works, and consider where the Creative Tradition fits into our own spiritual journeys.

Sunday, March 27 (3:00pm) The Consequences and Impact of War upon Children: An online presentation by Kathy Kelly, peace activist, author, and educator. Sponsored by Tiffin Area Pax Christi, Nonviolent Tiffin, and partner organizations.

 

Kathy is a person of HOPE for a better future for the world’s children in warring countries. She speaks with experience, with passion, with faith in the goodness of all people. She also shares her zeal, her faith, her inner strength freely.

 

Who Would Benefit? Educators, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, university and high school students. Peacemakers, people of all faiths, people wanting to be more involved socially for justice and peace.

Following Jesus: A Lenten Series produced by Catholic Relief Services & US Conference of Catholic Bishops will be offered virtually on Zoom every Monday beginning February 21st, 2022. Everyone’s favorite polymer is back! The Science of Slime and Squish will have your kids testing different recipes to find the perfect viscosity of slim and non-Newtonian fluids. We’ll make fluffy slime, clear slime, solid and liquid hybrid slime, even edible slime!

 

Wednesday, April 13th – Theme: Monsters Unleashed

Bigfoot, Yeti, Loch Ness monster, do you think they’re alive and well? Thanks to the Tiffin Parks Department we’ve had a few bigfoot sightings around Seneca county; could there be another at FELC?

Conversations About Faith is an informal discussion where matters of faith can be freely discussed and explored. Participants bring their own topics of interest.
