Tickets are on sale! Friday, February 28 (6:00-9:00pm) St. Francis Community Annual Mardi Gras Reverse Raffle, Elizabeth Schaefer Auditorium, 190 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin.
Cost: $50 ticket includes heavy appetizers for 1 person and 1 Reverse Raffle Number, 1 entry for Chance to Win $500 and Gift Card Tree Drawing or $30 ticket includes 1 Reverse Raffle Number (for those who can’t attend or just want more numbers).
Online Auction will be held from February 17 (12pm) – February 27 (12pm) at http://www.32auctions.com/SFCMardiGras2025. No ticket is required to participate in online auction.

Wednesday, January 15 and Monday, January 20 (8am-3pm) Science Days for Kids Ages 6-10 Years Old at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center, 194 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin.
Winter Science l: Why is it cold in winter? What is snow? What can you do with it? Can you freeze a bubble? Dress for the cold and lots of fun!
Cost: $60 per child. Light snacks are provided. Scholarships are available. Drop-off time: 7:30-7:50am. To register call 419.7485 or email hwatson@felctiffin.org at least one week prior to each Science Day.
Saturday, January 18 (10:00am) Wood Duck Nest Workshop at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center, 194 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin.
During the workshop, Matt Vitullo will be discussing the biology of wood ducks and the importance of installing and maintaining wood duck boxes. Afterwards, workshop attendees will help install three boxes in wetland areas on the Sisters of St. Francis property. Donations are welcome. To register: contact FELC at 419-448-7485. Matt is the ODNR Wildlife Management Consultant for the Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area and for seven counties (including Seneca) in Northwestern Ohio. He is one of 12 Wildlife Consultants for the State, who specialize in offering personalized information to private citizens and towns on managing their land–from stream corridors to pastures, prairies, woodlands and urban landscapes. Saturday, February 22 (10:00am) Cooking with Homegrown Mushrooms at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center, 194 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin.
Join Hannah Watson, Seeds of Hope Farm Manager, and Rob Malone, owner of the Turntable restaurant in downtown Tiffin and learn about all of the different types of homegrown mushrooms that are growing at FELC and how to cook them.
