This year’s Community MLK Day celebration on Jan. 17, at 7:00 p.m. will be virtual.

Community Celebration, “Reimagining the Dream.”  The keynote speaker, Dr. Regina Vincent-Williams is President of the Fremont NAACP and President of the Sandusky County Health Department.  Amber Herbert is the recipient of the Peacemaker Award.  Area school children will read their essays on “Who is Martin Luther King, Jr. and who is like him today?”

The online event will be hosted by students from Tiffin and Heidelberg Universities, and includes opening remarks by NAACP representative, Joni Pinskey and Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz.  Dr. Regina Vincent-Williams will provide the keynote address. She is the recently named president of the Sandusky County Health Department, serves as president of the Fremont NAACP, is an Adjunct Professor at Tiffin University and is an author, poet and motivational speaker.
