Join St. Francis Spirituality Center for rest, renewal, and an exploration of self-care in the Christian tradition:

  • How does self-care fit into God’s design for each one of us?
  • Is it selfish to engage in self-care?
  • Might we miss something sacred if we bypass the discomfort of prioritizing ourselves on occasion?
  • What steps can we faithfully take to engage self-care, understanding its potential to bring us to deeper mental/emotional and spiritual health?

Together, we will listen for God’s voice in new ways and discover what it means to love and care for ourselves as God intended.

Presenter: Rev. Katie Treadway is the pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Tiffin, where she has served for the past 14 years. She is also finishing her Masters of Clinical Counseling at Winebrenner Theological Seminary and interning at Dekle & Associates, LLC in Columbus, as a private practice mental health counselor. She finds joy exploring the intersection of mental health and spirituality. Katie is married to Bill Treadway and is mom to two brilliant adult children, Hannah and Kaia, and one amazing child, Alina. In her spare time, Katie enjoys playing with her very large Golden Retriever puppy, who is almost a year old.
