Mardi Gras Hybrid Reverse Raffle Supports St. Francis Community on Friday, February 17th (6–10pm) at Elizabeth Schaefer Auditorium, 190 St Francis Ave, Tiffin.
Includes: Games of Chance – Traditional Cajun Cuisine & Drinks – Raffle Baskets – Online/Silent Auction. Online Auction kicks off on February 13th at noon and end at 8pm the night of the event. Cash Bar- 21 and over event.

Saturday, February 18 (10–11:30am) Starting Your Own Vegetable/Herb/Flower Seeds at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center, 194 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin.
Presenter: Sr. Rita Wienken, OSF, an organic farmer for 40 years and founder of FELC and Seeds of Hope Farm. Learn the basics of starting your favorite veggies, herbs, and flowers from seeds. From the right organic soil mixture to watering and lighting, come prepared to get your hands dirty in this hands-on active workshop. Additional program dates: Sat., 3/25, Sat. 4/29, Thurs., 5/25, Thurs., 8/24 and Thurs. 9/28.

Science Days for Kids on Monday, February 20 for kids ages 6-10 years old at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center, 194 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin.
Theme: Lost on the High Seas. Life on the open sea is no easy task, are you up for the challenge? Send secret messages with flags, gain “knot-ical” knowledge, avoid common health traps on board, and of course play some sea-worth games.

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will host an “Alien Escape Room” for teens on Monday, February 6 at 3:30 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room.
Teens will challenge themselves and their friends with an escape room that is out of this world. Solve the puzzles and get back to Earth in one piece. For teens in grades six through twelve. Registration is not required for this free program.

The Bloomville Kids Committee is excited to present the “Halfway To The Block Party Souptacular Cook Off” on Saturday, February 4th at the Bloomville Firehouse from 5 -9 PM. $10 Adults, $5 Kids, 3 years old and under are free. Sample and judge all of our soup entries. Hot dogs, crackers, cookies, and punch are included. Beer will be available for purchase.
Cindy Lou’s will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Specialty Cupcake Sale on Sunday, February 12th from noon to 3pm at the Tiffin Community Kitchen, 45 S. Washington St., Tiffin. The cost per box is $12. All proceeds go to The Transformation Life Center.
Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will host “Family Movie Monday” on Monday, February 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room.
Watch the family movie Muppet Treasure Island at the Library. Popcorn will be provided. Families are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks. Feel free to bring pillows and blankets. Anyone who attends will be entered to win a prize. No registration required.

The Youth Services Department at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will host an “Indoor Snow Day” on Thursday, February 23 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room.
Enjoy a snow day without the cold by playing and doing activities in shredded paper ‘snow.’ Hot chocolate will be served. For children preschool age and younger. Registration is not required.

City of Tiffin’s Board of Control Meeting
A Board of Control Meeting will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 23, 2023 at City Hall, 51 E. Market Street, Tiffin, Ohio for Change Order #1 for the following: South Monroe Street Shotcrete Sewer Lining Project and any other business that may come before the Board.
